A renovation of a primary suite in Hampton Virginia. Playing with the existing roof framing and scale, the project seeks to adapt and carve out intimate spaces for the primary bedroom, closet storage, a bathroom, and private living room. Inspired by the materials and colors of the existing home, the project works with bright colors in the living room and weaves in a saturated tone-on-tone color palette as you move through the bathroom, hallway, and closets to the bedrooms. Wood details and upholstery bring an added warmth to the primary suite.
